Beautifully crafted calabash from the wood of the Caldén tree, which grows and flourishes only in Argentina. By filling the mate cup (calabash) again and again with the mate yerba, the mate cup takes on more and more of the intense flavors of mate. A kind of taste patina develops in the calabash, as it is the case with high-quality teapots. The more often you drink from the calabash, the better the mate tea gets.
