Traditional Matcha Bamboo Whisk.

The bamboo whisk (chasen) has been used for centuries to whip up the creamy, frothy Matcha tea. The bamboo whisk or chasen is also part of the centuries-old matcha ceremony. Like the bamboo spoon (Chashaku), the bamboo whisk is also made by hand. The individual bristles are carefully cut out of the bamboo and then shaped.
The bamboo whisk (chasen) can not be made by machine, so each bamboo whisk is unique.
